Job Status: This position is full time. HRDC also offers flexible schedules and a "reduced work week", which encourages full-time staff to use up to 4 paid hours weekly for their personal wellness.

Salary: The minimum salary is $132,000. Final salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and organizational compensation practices.

General Summary of Purpose of this Position:

Through a respectful, constructive and energetic style, guided by the objectives of the organization, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) plays an integral, supportive role in providing financial leadership for the organization and all programming, projects and initiatives. The position is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization in compliance with a multitude of regulations and in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, implementing best practices for a whole organization finance approach, and coming up with strategic plans to improve their company’s overall financial health. This position works closely with the CEO, Executive Team and Department Directors to review regular financial reports, identify investment opportunities and implement budgeting initiatives across the organization.

As a member of HRDC's Executive Team, the CFO provides strategic leadership and governance to advance HRDC's mission and long-term sustainability. Working in partnership with the CEO and Board of Directors, the CFO helps identify and respond to evolving community needs, provides oversight to ensure fiscal responsibility, supports sound organizational governance, and contributes to strategic decision-making that strengthens the organization's impact. The CFO serves as a trusted advisor, promotes transparency, accountability, and effective stewardship of organizational resources, and helps ensure Board actions are informed, collaborative, and mission-focused. As an ambassador for HRDC, the CFO fosters productive relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and donors while advocating for the organization's mission and the individuals and families it serves.
