The Hamburg Area School District is seeking an experienced, strategic, and collaborative financial leader to serve as its next Chief Financial Officer. This executive-level position plays a critical role in ensuring the long-term financial health, operational effectiveness, and fiscal stewardship of the District while supporting our mission of educational excellence and our commitment to "Every Child, Without Exception."

Reporting directly to the Superintendent, the Chief Financial Officer provides leadership and oversight for all financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, payroll, purchasing, grants management, risk management, audits, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will serve as a key member of the District's administrative team, providing strategic financial guidance to the Superintendent, Board of School Directors, and district leadership.

We are seeking a candidate with demonstrated expertise in public-sector financial management, strong analytical and leadership skills, and a thorough understanding of Pennsylvania school finance, budgeting, auditing, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a commitment to transparency, collaboration, innovation, and responsible stewardship of public resources.

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field required
• Master's degree, CPA, RSBA certification, or related credentials preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years of progressively responsible financial management experience
• Experience with Pennsylvania school finance, PSERS reporting, PDE submissions, budgeting, and audits strongly preferred
