We're partnering with our client, a highly successful, growth-focused organization seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer to serve as a key member of the executive leadership team. What You'll Do
- Provide executive leadership for all accounting and finance operations across multiple business entities.
- Partner with ownership and executive leadership to develop long-term financial strategies that support continued growth.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing accounting department, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional development.
- Manage key relationships with banking partners, insurance providers, and technology vendors.
- Oversee financial aspects of construction projects, including work-in-progress (WIP) reporting and project profitability.
- Support business growth initiatives, including acquisitions and strategic expansion opportunities.
- Continuously evaluate processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and financial performance.
What They're Looking For
Required
- Previous CFO experience or senior Controller experience within a mid-sized to large organization.
- Strong construction industry accounting knowledge, including WIP reporting.
- Proven experience leading and developing accounting and finance teams.
- Strategic business mindset with the willingness to stay engaged in day-to-day operations when needed.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Preferred
- Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions.
- Experience with Spectrum Construction Software.
