Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team in a hands-on, high-impact role. This position combines advanced corporate tax responsibilities with day-to-day accounting functions across multiple entities. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and brings a team-oriented mindset to a fast-moving and entrepreneurial environment.

This is not a purely advisory role—you’ll be expected to both lead and execute.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Tax & Compliance

• Prepare and file federal and state corporate tax returns across multiple entities
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and deadlines
• Manage tax planning strategies to optimize financial outcomes
• Coordinate with external advisors when needed
• Manage and coordinate external audits and serve as the primary point of contact for auditors

Accounting & Financial Operations

• Perform and oversee accounts payable (AP) data entry and payment processing
• Support accounts receivable (AR), including invoicing and collections
• Assist with general ledger maintenance and reconciliations
• Complete month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records across entities

Cross-Functional Support

• Provide financial insight to leadership across multiple operating companies
• Assist in improving accounting systems, processes, and internal controls
• Adapt to evolving responsibilities as the business grows and diversifies

Administrative

• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Active CPA license (required)
• 5+ years of progressive accounting andhands-on corporate tax experience with multi-entity structures, intercompany considerations, and complex filings
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• Experience operating in a multi-entity or complex business environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage both strategic initiatives and hands-on accounting tasks
• High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail
• Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, growth-oriented business

Job Type: Full-Time, 40+ hrs./wk. May require extended hours during month-end, year-end, and audit periods.

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (This is NOT a remote position) **Weekend Availability**

Annual Salary: DOE. Comprehensive benefits package available.
