Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of business development for two of the firm's most highly regarded practices, the Global Funds and U.S. Tax teams, both recognized as Band 1 by Chambers. The role supports the Global Funds and U.S. Tax practices, as well as the Private Equity Transactions and Sponsor Solutions client industry groups, and collaborates closely with lawyers and Business Development colleagues across offices and regions. Working alongside practice leadership, lawyers, the practice Business Development team, and the broader Global BDMC team, the Business Development Senior Coordinator will help shape and execute growth strategies, deepen client relationships, and raise the firm's profile across key markets and industry sectors.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with senior BD team members and practice leadership on global and local cross-selling and client targeting efforts, including as they relate to the firm's key client program.
- Prepare pitches and RFP responses, directory and award submissions; and develop/maintain practice group credentials and other relevant materials, ensuring that each is thoughtfully tailored to the specific opportunity at hand.
- Assist with the development and distribution of thought leadership pieces and client alert memos, working with lawyers and the PR/Comms team to ensure timely, relevant, and polished output.
- Ensure attorney pitch biographies are kept up to date.
- Liaise with the Events team to plan and execute external events, seminars, and webinars, and assist with conference and industry sponsorships.
- Collaborate with the Competitive Intelligence team to conduct research on existing and prospective clients, competitor activity, firm/client connections, and industry or market trends.
- Attend practice group and client team meetings, develop agendas, document key takeaways, and drive follow-up on agreed actions.
- Coordinate with teams across PR/Comms, Marketing, Content Strategies, and Digital to ensure a seamless process that will help raise the profile of the firm and these practices.
- Maintain and update BD activities, mailing lists, and practice experience in the firm's CRM and experience management systems.
- Utilize market intelligence platforms and AI-enabled tools to support client research, competitive intelligence, and pitch development.

- Support relevant client industry groups and contribute to the firm's key client program initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve and streamline BD processes, tools, and workflows, contributing to the continuous enhancement of the team's efficiency and impact.
- Support BD teams in other practice groups and regions on projects and other firm initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- A minimum of three years of relevant business development experience in a professional services firm. Previous experience in a corporate law firm is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience supporting Private Funds, Private Equity, Tax, or other Corporate practices is highly desirable.

**This role has the ability to work remotely a maximum of two days per week, in lieu of working onsite. The Firm may designate the specific days you are required to work onsite. This policy is subject to change.
**Practice portfolio is subject to change to maintain alignment with the evolving needs of the firm.
The estimated base salary range for this position is $85,000 to $95,000 at the time of posting. The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of job-related factors, including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, and performance. This role is non-exempt meaning it is overtime pay eligible.
