What can you expect from the role?
As a Business Controller & Team Lead, you play a key role in supporting management in strategic and operational decision-making. You combine in-depth financial analysis with the coordination and management of administrative processes. In doing so, you act as a trusted sparring partner for the Regional Director and Finance Manager.
Business control & reporting
- Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting operational and financial data at business unit level
- Preparing clear management reports, forecasts, and profitability analyses
- Monitoring budgets and operational results, and identifying deviations in a timely manner
- Providing and presenting financial and operational insights to support decision-making
Planning, budget & control
- Contributing to the development and improvement of budgeting and control systems
- Monitoring KPIs and Department Objectives (DOs)
- Formulating cost-saving and optimization recommendations
- Helping elevate the level of business controlling within the region
Coordination & administration
- Coordinating and leading the administrative team (5–6 employees) based on priorities and competencies
- Acting as a central point of contact for management and staff
- Optimizing and establishing administrative procedures and working methods
- Ensuring accurate and efficient administrative handling of documents
- Providing a professional and customer-oriented reception, both internally and externally
Team & quality
- Motivating, coaching, and supporting administrative staff
- Ensuring compliance with legislation and internal guidelines regarding safety, quality, and well-being
Are you the colleague we are looking for?
- You hold a master’s degree in an economic field
- You have extensive experience in business controlling
- You have at least one relevant leadership experience
- You have the maturity and ambition to lead a team of 5–6 employees
- You have strong analytical skills, communicate effectively, and work in a structured manner
- You are fluent in Dutch

You are entitled to 20 statutory vacation days and 12 additional leave days. Important to know: there is no collective closure during the construction holiday period.
Through our Altrad Academy, you will have the opportunity to follow necessary training courses, such as obtaining a VCA certificate and various IT trainings. Tailor-made French language courses are also available—if you ever need them in your role, we’ve got you covered!
