    Title: Building Secretary/Bookkeeper

    Qualifications:

    • Maintain excellent attendance
    • Ability to get along well with others
    • Have strong oral and written communication skills
    • Demonstrate organizational skills, with attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently and as a team to complete tasks in a timely manner
    • Ability to follow oral and/or written directions
    • Strictly maintain confidentiality
    • Use a variety of technology tools

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Extra-Curricular Bookkeeping
    • Purchase Orders
    • Attendance Reporting
    • Skyward Reporting
    • Office communication:  Answer phone calls, emails, and parent contact
    • Participate in meetings as required
    • Promote a positive and professional image of the district at all times
    • Follow all rules, policies, procedures and guidelines of Fairfield Community Schools
    • Other duties as assigned by building principal and/or supervisor

    Requirements:

    • Must be 18 years of age
    • Have at least a high school diploma or GED
    • Complete and pass an Expanded Criminal background and CPS Check

    Compensation:

    • Competitive pay based upon experience

    Contracted days: 

    • 180 school days plus any required classified staff workdays per school year
    • Extended contract for an additional 20 days � 10 days before the first student day and 10 days after the last student day

    Hours:

          8 hours per day/40 hours per week

          7:30 a.m. � 4:00 p.m.

    Reports to: Building Principal and/or Building Supervisor
