Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):  
Bachelor's degree (foreign equivalent or higher) in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field. Five (5) years of full-time related administrative experience in budgeting and/or project/program management. Two (2) years of full time experience supervising professional staff. Experience with spreadsheets, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suite and/or general ledger software.
Preferred Qualifications: 
Advanced degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Six (6) or more years of full-time administrative experience in budgeting and/ or project/program management. Three (3) or more years of full-time experience supervising professional staff. Experience in budget and/or project/program management involving external sponsors. Experience with QuickBooks. Experience with PeopleSoft. MS Access, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Oracle Cloud, Electronic procurement systems, and/or RF Report System experience. 
Brief Description of Duties: 
This position is responsible for managing and maintaining all funded-type accounts directly controlled by both the Office of the Dean of the Renaissance School of Medicine and the Office of the Executive Vice President of Stony Brook Medicine, with annual expenditure activity of approximately 50 million. This position will serve as a trusted partner to leadership and will act as a liaison and point of contact for administrators and staff to provide consultation, guidance, and trainings on various financial issues, as well as to troubleshoot matters of concern to both the University and outside vendors. The incumbent will be highly collaborative with exceptional communication skills.
