CLASSIFICATION: Operational Support Staff
PAY GRADE 12: $18.79 - $19.89 hourly (based on education and experience)
LENGTH: 210 days/8 hours per day
REPORTS TO: Building Principal

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma
- Experience of (3) or more years in administrative, accounting/bookkeeping or secretarial position in a similar sized school district or equivalent setting required
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Procecess all accounts receivables and accounts payables for the extra-curricular accounts.
- Submits purchase request for all building staff.
- Monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and uploads information as required by the State Board of Accounts. Reconciles bank statements; prepares daily, monthly, and annual financial reports.
- Tracks fundraiser and field trip applications and ensure they follow the district guidelines.
- Processes travel voucher for meals, lodging and mileage.
- Support the athletic programs by organizing and preparing all money boxes for gate ticket sales/concessions and processes credit card transactions. Orders the concession supplies on a weekly frequency.
- Tracks and manages the Education Foundation Grant funds for the teachers in the building.
- Management of the bookstore inventory, ordering of materials and annual distribution.
- Prepares and distributes invoices for lost/damaged technology equipment, textbooks and library books to parents/guardians.
- Support the materials needs for new student to the building.
- Uses excel to track and manage all funds spend by building staff.
- Verifies and provides receipts for all school monies; prepares and makes bank deposits as funds are received.
- Types and processes purchase orders and claims for payment.
- Maintains student headcounts and prepares and distributes monthly census mobility report.
- Answers phone, handles inquiries from staff, students and parents, receives and distribute mail.
- Compiles data and information to prepare state reports.
- Serves as "on call" support to the health office as needed. Performs first aid, dispenses authorized prescriptions and over-the-counter medications, supervises students in the health office and makes appropriate referrals to school nurse; prepares and processes student and staff injury reports.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by Principal and/or other designee.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or nonprescribed controlled substance abuse in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the Corporation.
