Bookkeeper

Job Summary

This is a temporary remote position to assist our Accounting Manager with reoncilications for Accounts Payable and multiple bank accounts. 

The ideal candidate MUST be accustomed to handling bank statements consiting of more than five (5) pages and well over 100 transactions per month. Familiartity with R365 is preferred. This position requires a high level of confidentiality and ability to follow directions and ad hoc tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform and complete multiple reconcilaitons, i.e bank, merchant statements, payroll clearing account, petty cash & vendor statements.
• Record journal entry adjustments as required.

Requirements

• Must have computer with highspeed internet.
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time while working on computer.
• High volume processing experience.
• Ability to maintain high levels of discretion and confidentiality.
• Ability to work in unity of a closeknit team.

Qualifications

• Background in HIGH VOLUME AP with a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position.
• Strong full cycle accounts payable experience required. (PO to invoice, match, entry, and payment.)
• Restaurant bookkeeping or similar type accounting assistance experience required.
• Ability to report to multiple levels of department supervisors.
• Reconciliation experience required.
• Working knowledge of Restaurant 365 preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Excel.
