Aspen Contracting is growing and adding to our accounting team. We are looking for a detail-driven, reliable Bookkeeper who takes pride in accuracy, organization, and follow-through.
This role supports day-to-day financial operations and requires someone who can manage numbers, stay organized, and maintain consistency in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate records
- Process accounts receivable and payable
- Review and verify entries across customer, vendor, and general ledgers
- Perform internal checks to ensure accuracy in financial data
- Maintain organized financial documentation and reporting
- Support deposits, invoicing, and general accounting functions
What We’re Looking For
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles, including accounts payable and receivable
- Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage financial figures and records accurately
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and accounting/software systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
- Ability to collect, analyze, and summarize financial data into a usable format
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to handle pressure and maintain performance during high-volume periods
