Arkansas Talent Group's client is a distinguished CPA firm specializing in comprehensive financial services for high-net-worth family offices. They provide end-to-end accounting support for diverse client portfolios, including small business operations, personal finances, trust accounting, investment tracking, and multi-entity structures.
They're seeking an experienced Full Charge Multi-Entity Bookkeeper/Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and can manage complex accounting needs for both business and personal accounts with the highest level of confidence and provides end to end accounting support for diverse client portfolios, including small business operations, personal finances, trust accounting, investment tracking, and multi-entity structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Multi-Entity Business Accounting
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple small business entities under family office portfolios
- Maintain general ledgers, perform bank and credit card reconciliations, and manage journal entries
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable for multiple entities
- Process payroll and payroll tax filings across state lines when necessary
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow projections
- Personal & Family Office Accounting
- Manage personal bookkeeping for high-net-worth individuals (bill pay, personal budgets, expense tracking)
- Coordinate payments for lines of credit, loans, insurance premiums, and charitable contributions
- Maintain accurate chart of accounts for personal and business entities
- Ensure proper funding of accounts and process distributions
- Compile documentation for personal tax returns and coordinate with tax preparers
Additional Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures
- Prepare sales tax returns and ensure compliance with state/local regulations
- Collaborate with tax accountants on tax-related payments and filings
- Liaise with external auditors and prepare audit documentation
- Generate financial reports and provide clients with clear financial insights
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with integrity
- Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
Required
- 5–10+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience, preferably in public accounting/accounting services (or 10+ small business entities)
- Proven experience managing multi-entity accounting structures
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field strongly preferred
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online (mandatory)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Extensive knowledge of general ledger operations and journal entries
- Strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines
- Sharp attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
- Experience working with high-net-worth family offices, single-family offices, or multi-family offices
- Experience with personal tax compliance and personal accounting
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification
- CPA or CPA track (not required but a plus)
- Familiarity with investment accounting, trust accounting, or charitable obligations
- Experience with additional accounting software (Dynamics 365 Business Central, CaseWare, Taxprep)
