Billing Specialist

YHA is seeking an experienced Billing Specialist to join our growing Administration team. This position will likely begin part-time, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role in the future.

We are looking for a highly knowledgeable and detail-oriented professional with strong experience in Medicaid billing within the behavioral health field, specifically related to juvenile clients receiving treatment in a residential treatment center (RTC) setting.

Position Details:

• Hybrid role with required in-office attendance for trainings, meetings, and weekly agenda coordination

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience as a Billing Specialist (required)

• Direct experience billing Medicaid in the behavioral health space

• Experience billing for both in-state and out-of-state Medicaid

• Experience billing for juvenile residential treatment services (preferred)

• Strong understanding of Medicaid regulations, compliance requirements, and authorization processes

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong communication and organizational skills
