The OpportunityWe’re looking for a Billing Specialist to join our San Diego office and take ownership of the full billing cycle for a portfolio of insurance defense and litigation matters. This role works closely with attorneys, legal assistants, and billing leadership to ensure client invoices are accurate, compliant with carrier and client guidelines, and submitted on time. It’s a high-visibility role that requires someone who takes pride in precision, communicates well under deadline, and knows how to navigate the nuances of insurance defense billing.
This position requires regular in-office attendance for the first 180 days. After that period, hybrid working arrangements may be available for eligible employees consistent with firm policy.

 CompensationThe pay range for this position is $31.25$38.46 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Klinedinst PC complies with California’s pay transparency requirements. Pay ranges are provided in compliance with SB1162, California’s pay transparency law; actual pay may vary based on a variety of factors, including education, applicable experience, etc.
Final compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, and internal equity considerations. This position is eligible for the firm’s standard benefits package described above.
