Billing Specialist

A Moving & Storage company is looking for a Billing Associate for their Elk Grove Village location.

Will be responsible for assisting the Accounting Manger in all company service lines as described in responsibilities. In addition, the billing associate should possess a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and the ability to be flexible with daily tasks assigned. We are looking for a self-starter who has excellent people skills, is ready to grow within the position, and accept technology and ai integrations.

This skilled associate will aid the accounting team in maintaining our financial records, including Accounts Receivable/ Billing, Banking, Accounts Payable, Invoicing, and more.
Billing Associate Responsibilities

• Invoicing and Billing for all service lines
• Payment auditing
• Credit card pre-authorizations
• Waiver prep
• Issuing PO’s
• Vendor Invoices
• Requesting COI’s and w9’s
• Collections
• Additional responsibilities as needed

Billing Associate skills

• Communication skills a must - verbal and written
• Ai usage and knowledge a must- will be trained on programs within our organization
• Proven bookkeeping experience with solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
• Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• The ability to meet deadlines
• The ability to communicate complex data in a clear way
• Exceptional organization skills
• The ability to prioritize projects and tasks

Billing Associate requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (accounting, math, finance, economics)
• 2-years QuickBooks experience (Desktop Version)
• 2-years Excel and Word
• 6 mo Ai usage
