About the Role:

The Billing Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the billing process within the organization. Under the guidance of the Billing Administrator, this position is responsible for managing customer accounts, processing invoices, and resolving any discrepancies that may arise. The ultimate goal is to maintain a seamless billing cycle that supports the financial health of the company while providing excellent service to clients. The Billing Specialist will collaborate with various departments to gather necessary information and ensure timely billing. By effectively managing billing operations, this role contributes significantly to the overall customer satisfaction and retention rates.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma 
• Proven experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Must have medical billing experience 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience with billing software and financial management systems.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards.
• 5+ years of medical billing experience required
• ASC experience required 
• Pain Mangement experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue invoices to clients in a timely manner.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of billing transactions and customer accounts.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Will report to the Billing Administrator

Job Type: Full-time

Pay:  $22- $27 per hour 

Expected hours: 40 per week
