Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule
- Manage medical billing for private pay, insurance, and government programs (Medicare/Medicaid)
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and claim issues
- Verify and track authorizations to ensure services align with approved care
- Maintain accurate data entry, records, and documentation compliance
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure timely paperwork submission
- Assist with accounts receivable, reporting, and general accounting functions
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in payroll, billing, or administrative support
- Experience in healthcare billing, home health, or medical office setting preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and data entry systems
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
- Knowledge of confidentiality standards (HIPAA preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time management skills
- Associate degree or higher preferred
