The Benefits Accounting and Analysis professional will be responsible for managing the financial administration and oversight of Health & Welfare Benefit programs. This position includes processing weekly and monthly payments, calculating and submitting remittances, analyzing trends and developing financial forecasts, conducting analysis of financial data, preparing accounting journals, completing specific reconciliations, providing support for audits and compliance requirements, and driving strategic process improvements. The candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the timely and accurate execution of Health & Welfare Benefits-related accounting and financial tasks.• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.• Minimum experience in benefits accounting, payroll accounting, or corporate financial management.• Familiarity with health and welfare benefit programs, COBRA, and other employee benefit plans.• Expertise in journal entry preparation, reconciliations, account analysis, and forecasting.• Advanced Excel and PeopleSoft skills• Ability to handle multiple priorities while ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.• Strong problem-solving capability, detail-oriented mindset, and organizational skills.• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements for employee benefits and audits.• Experience working with actuarial calculations and investment reporting.• Bachelor's degree in relevant field plus at least five years of experience (YOE) in a relevant role, OR Master's degree in relevant field plus at least two years of experience (YOE), OR Doctoral degree in relevant field• Equivalencies to experience and education requirements will be considered
