Automotive Finance Manager

Hubler Ford is seeking a dedicated and experienced Automotive Finance Manager to join our team in Shelbyville, IN. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the dealership’s finance department, ensuring smooth financial transactions and providing customers with financing options that meet their needs. You will work closely with sales staff and financial institutions to deliver an exceptional customer experience while maximizing profitability.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the dealership’s finance and insurance operations.
• Present financing options and explain loan terms to customers.
• Develop relationships with banks, credit unions, and other lending institutions to provide the best financing solutions.
• Negotiate loan terms and contracts in conjunction with customers and financial institutions.
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations related to automotive financing.
• Train and mentor finance department staff to maintain high standards of customer service and operational excellence.
• Work closely with sales and management teams to meet dealership sales and profitability goals.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial products, vehicle inventory, and market trends.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automotive Finance Manager or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
• Strong understanding of automotive financing, loan processes, and related compliance regulations.
• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong leadership abilities and experience managing a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency in finance and dealership management software.
