Auditor(A) Halal Freelancer

As part of strengthening our pool of experts, we are looking for a Halal Auditor on a Freelancer basis, to collaborate in conducting Halal audits with clients from various sectors of activity.

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct Halal audits of processes, products, and production facilities;
• Evaluate compliance with applicable Halal requirements and standards;
• Identify non-conformities and opportunities for improvement;
• Prepare clear and technically sound audit reports;
• Ensure the application of defined procedures and requirements for certification processes;
• Collaborate with SGS technical teams whenever necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Halal audits (eliminatory factor);
• Proven experience in conducting audits of production processes and industrial facilities;
• Solid knowledge of applicable Halal standards and requirements;
• Experience in conformity assessment and non-conformity management;
• Analytical skills, technical rigor, and a strong orientation towards quality;
• Experience in preparing audit reports;
• Good knowledge of English (spoken and written);
• Availability for travel nationally and/or internationally;
• Formal training or qualification as a Halal Auditor will be valued;
• Previous experience in certification bodies will be considered an asset.
