We are growing our Audit Department in RBK and are looking for ambitious and commercially minded Audit Seniors to join our expanding team.

This is a broad role that goes beyond traditional audit. Working across a Midlands-based client portfolio, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including owner-managed businesses, SMEs and subsidiaries of multinational organisations, while gaining experience across audit, business advisory and value-added services.

You will play an important role in the delivery and continued development of the department, working closely with Partners and the wider Audit team to provide high-quality service to clients. You will also have the opportunity to develop your own technical and commercial expertise while supporting and developing more junior members of the team.

Key Responsibilities

·       Work on a diverse range of Audit assignments, taking responsibility for planning, execution and completion of Audits.

·       Prepare and present reports to management, highlighting issues identified during the audit and providing appropriate recommendations and advice.

·       Work closely with Partners and the wider Audit team to deliver a high-quality service across a portfolio of clients.

·       Build strong client relationships, developing an understanding of their businesses and identifying opportunities to provide additional value and advice.

·       Play a key role in the supervision, support and development of junior team members, including Trainees, providing guidance on their professional and technical development.

·       Develop specialist market knowledge, taking a proactive approach to identifying opportunities to support clients.

·       Work collaboratively with other departments to deliver integrated solutions for clients.

Key Competencies

·       Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with 2+ years' post-qualified experience.

·       Strong technical knowledge of accounting and audit principles, with experience managing a portfolio of clients.

·       Strong commercial awareness and an interest in business advisory and business development.

·       Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on developing others.

·       Strong organisational, analytical and project management skills, with excellent attention to detail.

·       A proactive and ambitious approach, with the ability to build strong client relationships and contribute to the growth and development of the department.
