Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, an international law firm, who are looking to recruit an experienced Associate to join their Tax team based in Atlanta.
JOB DETAILS

PAY RATE: $260,000 - $390,000 Per Annum
WORK TYPE: Permanent
WORK PATTERN: Full Time
LOCATION: Atlanta, GA

JOB ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a broad range of complex tax planning and controversy matters within a highly regarded practice.
You will advise clients on a variety of state and local tax issues, including planning, controversy, and litigation matters. The role also involves supporting clients on state tax considerations arising from mergers and acquisitions, offering exposure to sophisticated transactional work.
You will have 3–6 years of relevant experience who are eager to take on responsibility and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

Experience handling a wide range of state and local tax planning and controversy matters
Litigation experience in state and local tax disputes
Familiarity with state tax issues in the context of M&A transactions
Experience with unclaimed property matters is advantageous
Excellent academic credentials
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
