Associate RAP Analyst

The Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) is seeking to hire a full-time Associate RAP Analyst. This position will support. the development of innovative modeling procedures to improve the responsiveness of the agency’s modeling and land use forecasting tools. Work will focus on the collection, preparation, and analysis of data necessary to support CMAP’s Transportation Modeling, Land Use and Data Science programs.

CMAP is looking for an Associate RAP Analyst with,

• Skills in scripting,relational databases, computational analysis, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) as they relate to large urban datasets.
• A bachelor's degree in urban planning, Geography, GIS, Geoinformatics, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering or a related discipline
• Exposure to and experience with large urban datasets, research, and quantitative analysis, through coursework,internshipsand/or professional experience

Hiring Range is $60,667.95-74,318.39

CMAP employees work a reduced work week of 37.5 hours and a flexible hybrid work schedule at the Old Post Office located at 433 West Van Buren in Chicago, IL.  This position is benefit eligible.
