This individual will provide support for the planning, procurement, vendor qualification, and contracting for materials and services while maintaining regulatory requirements. In this role, you will work directly with vendors and business users to provide contract administration support. As a Business Associate in Con Edison Supply Chain, you drive cost savings for material and services procurements.This position does not provide employment pursuant to the terms of a STEM OPT Training Plan.ResponsibilitiesCore ResponsibilitiesProvide support for the planning, procurement, vendor qualification, and contracting for materials and services.Work directly with vendors and business users to provide contract administration support.Work with the organization on procurement initiatives for material, services, and construction and maintenance of underground and overhead gas, steam and electric transmission facilities, electric and steam generating facilities, and associated corporate and environmental services including maintenance and update of the non stock and class/stock item numbering catalog as required to ensure accurate inventory management and streamline procurement processes.Administrative and quality control responsibility for Supply Chain operating policies & procedures including but not limited to auditor and executive certification update filing, tracking Archer compliance items, and contract redaction for regulatory reports to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards.Work with the organization on initiatives to manage customer expectations effectively and communicate with customer groups regarding procurement policies as these relate to customer notice provision, requests, etc.Participate in the Company's emergency management processes and storm plans as required.Perform other assignments as requested by management and in support of cross training coverage requirements.
