Assist with department resource planning and staff allocation. Attend pitches to potential new clients, client due diligence meetings and board/client meetings as required. Build and maintain a strong relationships with clients, vendors and audit firms. Continue to carry out the core roles of the team, including the creation, preparation and review of financial statement workings/reports. Including assisting direct reports and other team members, where necessary. Develop an understanding of the financial reporting process and assist in the creation of the target operating model for our clients. Ensure all invoices are raised and fees are collected in a timely manner. Ensure that all processes are performed in accordance with operational procedures and controls, and that all relevant checklists, trackers, planners and desktop notes are completed. Keep up to date with applicable accounting standards and regulatory reporting requirements. Manage the staff that report directly to you, assist in training team members and participate in their performance review process. Monitor and manage the reporting deadlines for the services/clients that you and your staff are accountable for. Take on ad-hoc tasks as required. Post-secondary education with a concentration in finance, accounting, mathematics or related fields. Professional qualification in ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or CFA.
