Business Orientation: Understands NBFC operations, finance, accounting, credit, collections, regulatory reporting and control environments; applies audit work in a commercial and regulatory context. Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Performs testing with appropriate sampling, evidence retention and documentation discipline; reviews work papers for completeness, consistency, traceability and support for conclusions reached. Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Applies professional judgement while evaluating audit evidence, exceptions and compensating controls; distinguishes between design gaps, operating failures, process inefficiencies and documentation gaps. Effective Communication: Writes clear audit work papers, issue summaries, management comments and status updates; communicates audit requirements, observations and remediation expectations professionally with stakeholders. Problem Solving: Identifies root causes, recommends proportionate remediation actions, understands escalation practices and validates action closure based on appropriate evidence. Data Gathering and Reporting: Identifies reliable sources of audit evidence, applies basic data analysis to identify trends and exceptions, and prepares accurate audit status updates, testing summaries and exception reports. Regulatory, SOX and ICFR Orientation: Understands the importance of RBI compliance, Companies Act requirements, Ind AS financial reporting and internal control over financial reporting; supports SOX and ICFR testing aligned to group and local statutory reporting expectations.
