The Assistant Finance Manager works in collaboration with the Finance Manager and the Finance team to provide quality services for all financial management and accounting functions.  The Assistant Finance Manager assists with planning, organizing and directing the administrative activities of the Finance function and associated services.  The Assistant Finance Manager coordinates and maintains the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers and the inventory databases.  The Assistant Finance Manager assists in the preparation of annual budgets; financial analysis, timely and accurate financial statements and other related accounting functions. The Assistant Finance Manager reports to the Finance Manager and will work closely with other members of the Finance team as well as managers within the organization, residents and family members.  The incumbent will provide services to all Actionmarguerite sites and applicable service contracts.

Service and Assignment: Finance
Starting Date: June 29, 2026
Shift and Hours of Work:1.0 FTE-full-time-term-currently 08:30-16:45
Pay Scale: As per established salary scale
Specifications: Term ending September 1, 2027 with 2 weeks' notice and possibility of extension. Assignment and hours of work are subject to change at any time as per operational requirements.

This position is designated bilingual (French/English). All staff are hired for the facility. Employees may hold more than one position in different Actionmarguerite facilities, where the sum total of hours does not exceed 1.0 full-time equivalence.
