The Assistant/Associate Tax Analyst is responsible for supporting all US compliance related to foreign entities (e.g. Form 5471, 8858, etc.), working with outside service providers to comply with all local income tax reporting requirements in foreign jurisdictions, preparing ASC 740 documentation, supporting the annual transfer pricing documentation process, assisting in tax audits and special projects. Provide support for other tax areas as needed. This position reports to the Manager – International Tax.

What will you be doing?

• Assist with managing local and US compliance of foreign operations in North America, Middle East, Europe and Asia.

• Assist with preparing quarterly and annual income tax accounting calculations (ASC 740) for US GAAP and statutory accounting purposes.

• Prepare reconciliation of tax-related general ledger accounts

• Prepare international provision-to-return work papers

• Monitor changes in local country legislation for both local and US GAAP impacts

• Research and document tax laws on an as needed basis

• Support annual documentation requirements for IRS CAP audit

• Support annual documentation requirements for Transfer Pricing

• Assist in supporting international tax audits and other matters with various tax authorities as needs arise

• Collaborate with internal business partners on income tax considerations for business initiatives and/or transactions.

What will you need to bring?

• BA/BS Degree in Accounting

• 2+ years of corporate tax experience in either public accounting or industry preferred

• Base knowledge of income tax concepts and ASC 740 reporting. International tax experience a plus

• Strong accounting and technology skills

• Thomson-Reuters One Source compliance experience a plus

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and comply with regulatory deadlines

• Excellent written and oral communication skills for both internal and external business partners

• Positive attitude of continuous improvement to question processes and outcomes to unlock better ways of working
