Assistant Accounting Manager/ Bookkeeper

Location: Sandy Springs, GA

Role Overview: The Assistant Accounting Manager/Bookkeeper will assist with daily accounting functions, handle QuickBooks transactions, support accounts payable/receivable, and assist with job cost tracking. The role also includes administrative support to the President, managing schedules, communications, and coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily bookkeeping and accounting functions.
• Use QuickBooks for entering and reconciling transactions.
• Help with accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Assist with managing job costs and project budgets.
• Maintain financial records and documentation.
• Use platforms like Buildertrend and CoConstruct for construction management.
• Provide administrative support to the President, including scheduling and coordination.
• Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in QuickBooks (required).
• Familiarity with Buildertrend and CoConstruct (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and multitasking ability.
• Excellent communication skills and professionalism.
• Experience in the construction industry is a plus.

Compensation: The salary range is between $50,000 and $60,000, depending on experience and abilities.
