Work Location: Boca Raton, FL For local candidates living within a commuting distance from our corporate headquarters (up to St. Lucie county to the north and Miami-Dade county to the south).

Work arrangement: Hybrid – a combination of in-person collaboration and work-from-home flexibility. Pay: $51,000 annual base, non-exempt, plus a 7% performance bonus Schedule: Mon – Fri, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST (willing to work 11am – 8pm on a rotational basis)

As an Assigned Risk Analyst, you’ll evaluate residual market eligibility applications, interpret guidelines, and make informed decisions that support compliance and smooth policy issuance by assigned carriers. WHAT YOU WILL DO: ANALYZE APPLICATIONS:

Analyze applications, confirm eligibility, and issue binders for qualified risks. Validate classifications, pricing programs, and estimated premiums to prevent premium leakage. Ensure compliance with state regulations and apply guidelines to nuanced scenarios.

CLIENT COMMUNICATIONS:

Communicate with agents, carriers, and employers to resolve inquiries by phone, email, and online platforms. Interpret and apply filed rules—including Basic Manual and Residual Market guidelines—often requiring state‑specific research.

ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT

Participate in departmental initiatives, projects, training, and system testing. Develop and conduct presentations

WHAT IS REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s degree is required. Minimum 1 year in a customer-facing, analytical role (relevant internship or pertinent education may be considered). Outstanding communication, listening, critical thinking, analytical problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to do independent research, interpret regulatory guidelines, make independent decisions, and explain outcomes to clients. Ability to work independently to meet or exceed department metrics on quality, production, timeliness, and phone compliance.

WHAT IS PREFERRED:

3+ years in an analytical, client service position in industries such as insurance, finance, banking, or industries with transferable skills. General understanding of  workers’ compensation insurance or insurance industry experience

Industry course work or designations such as AIS, AU, CPCU
