AR Specialist (Business Office Manager)

Are you an experienced healthcare business office professional looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact? Silverton Health & Rehabilitation is seeking an AR Resource to support our revenue cycle operations and help ensure the financial health of our facility while delivering exceptional service to residents and families.

What You'll Do

Manage accounts receivable processes for a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility

Follow up on Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and commercial insurance claims

Research and resolve billing issues, denials, and unpaid accounts

Work with residents, families, and responsible parties regarding account balances and payment arrangements

Maintain accurate billing, collection, and financial records

Collaborate with facility leadership and corporate teams to improve reimbursement and cash flow

Ensure compliance with all applicable billing and documentation requirements

What We're Looking For

Experience in healthcare billing, accounts receivable, business office, or revenue cycle management

Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care (LTC) experience preferred

Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance billing practices

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Requirements

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required.

BA degree in Accounting or Business is preferred.

Licenses/Certification

Valid driver’s license required

Experience

Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.

Three years of experience in accounts receivable, collections or similar area of responsibility.

Three years office or administration experience preferred.

Salary Description $21.00 - $27.00 an Hour
