Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable

What You’ll Do:

• Enter bills into QuickBooks and ensure all supporting documents are complete.
• Match invoices to packing slips and pull invoices for shipping carriers.
• Code expenses, track due dates, and prepare payable items for mailing.
• Reconcile vendor statements and shipping carrier accounts.
• Maintain organized AP files, binders, and digital records.
• Invoice warranties and verify accuracy of customer billing.
• Apply customer payments and book deposits in QuickBooks.
• Review customer orders for accuracy and resolve discrepancies with internal teams.
• Maintain accurate AR documentation and support customer communication as needed.
• Assist with year-end audit preparation by pulling requested documents.
• Support general accounting tasks and follow established procedures.

Qualifications:

• Experience in shipping, warehouse operations, or fulfillment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Positive, professional attitude.
• Reliable work habits and ability to follow procedures.
• Experience leading or training others preferred.
• Ability to lift 25-45 lbs. without assistance.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
• Basic computer skills for order lookup, tracking, and inventory adjustments.
• Familiarity with shipping software and ecommerce platforms is a plus.

Schedule & Work Environment:

• Full-time, weekday manufacturing schedule.
• Additional hours may be scheduled during peak demand, including some Saturdays.
• Warehouse environment with frequent standing, lifting, bending and walking.
• Hands-on role with a mix of packaging, workflow coordination, and problem-solving.
• Located at YakAttack headquarters in Farmville, VA
