Analyst - Accounting

⚡ You will play an important role in: Under the supervision of the Manager – Operational Accounting US, the holder of this position will perform the complete accounting cycle tasks for various companies.

Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end files according to the group’s procedures, standards, and internal control rules; Provide support to the Manager in preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements; Participate in the production of the budget for the entities under their charge; Ensure the reliability of data by meeting the deadlines set by the group and highlighting discrepancies; Collaborate in optimizing methods, tools, and processes; Work closely with the team to ensure interventions align with business objectives; Collaborate closely with all departments; Perform all related accounting tasks.

💡 To succeed in this position, you need:

Hold active CPA license (asset); 5 to 7 years of relevant experience (public accounting experience is an asset); Experience in financial statement preparation and analytical review of reporting produced (essential) Ability to translate financial results to digestible summaries for stakeholders (essential) Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP standards (complex topics); Experience in business acquisitions (an asset); Knowledge of the Office suite (essential); Knowledge of SAP and Longview (an asset); Demonstrate autonomy, initiative, and the ability to advance complex files; A good team spirit with strong analytical skills; Rigor, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously; Respect for objectives and deadlines.
