About the Role
We're seeking an AI Tax Reviewer to join our Irvine office in a primarily Quality Control (QC) role. This position will focus on reviewing tax returns for accuracy, technical compliance, and quality while helping us leverage AI and automation to improve consistency and efficiency across our tax practice.
This is an on-site position where you'll work closely with tax leadership to maintain high-quality deliverables and continually improve our review processes.
Requirements
- Active CPA license.
- 3+ years of experience in public accounting.
- Experience preparing and/or reviewing tax returns.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. federal tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with AI tools or a strong interest in adopting new technologies.
- Review individual, business, and other tax returns for technical accuracy and completeness.
- Perform quality control reviews prior to client delivery.
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to tax preparers.
- Identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities to improve tax workflows.
- Help develop and refine AI-assisted review processes and quality standards.
- Collaborate with leadership to improve efficiency while maintaining exceptional quality.
- Stay current on federal and state tax regulations and best practices.

- Base Salary: $75,000-$140,000 based on experience and qualifications.
