As NFM’s Administrative Specialist of Payroll, you’ll perform broad administrative and staff support duties. You’ll also assist with tasks and duties associated with Payroll, including recording hours of work, timekeeper entry, and answering employee and manager questions.

Job Duties: A Day in the Life

Monitor: Respond to payroll questions from employees, managers and the Human Resource staff Manage: Maintain employee records for accurate process on net pay Plan: Audit time record and synchronize with commission system, meeting deadline of the payroll service provider and bank for direct deposits Assist: department manager/supervisor in research or issue resolution Collaborate: Work with management to maintain departmental policies, procedures, training materials, communications, etc.

Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?

Assoc. Degree in business related field preferred 0-2 years payroll processing experience 0-2 years PC experience including a working knowledge of Windows, Excel, and database applications Ability to work some nights, Saturdays, and/or early morning hours based on business needs Payroll systems, Timekeeping systems, Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, criminal background check
