    Salary: 12-month position with a starting base salary of no less than $48,000 annually.  

    Qualifications

    Individuals interested in this position should have prior years of business and office experience and demonstrate the skills necessary to contribute to the efficient operation of the Business Office. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a high school diploma; strong interpersonal and communication skills; demonstrated ability to work effectively with employees, stakeholders, and vendors; experience with cash management, bookkeeping, accounts payable, insurance, or related business functions; strong organizational, data entry, computer, mathematical, and problem-solving skills; and experience with financial management software. Knowledge of Blackbaud, Corpay, and/or similar financial management applications are preferred. The successful candidate must demonstrate attention to detail, maintain confidentiality, manage multiple priorities in an environment with frequent interruptions, work both independently and collaboratively, and demonstrate a commitment to continued professional growth.

    Job Responsibilities

    Administrative Assistant reports to the Chief Financial Officer and works closely with the Business Manager and Main Office staff to support school initiatives and the needs of Marian Catholic stakeholders. The Administrative Assistant's primary responsibility is Accounts Payable, including preparing accounts payable listings; processing purchase orders, check requests, invoices, and credit card purchases; reviewing documentation for accuracy, appropriate authorization, and compliance with Board policies and internal controls; assisting with the management and reconciliation of checking accounts; maintaining accurate financial records; and providing administrative, human resources, and bookkeeping support as assigned. As a member of the School's Office Support Team, the Administrative Assistant develops collaborative working relationships with staff and administrators and serves as a resource regarding financial software, Business Office procedures, cash management protocols, purchasing and payment processes, and bookkeeping best practices
