The Opportunity:

The Accounts Receivable Summer Student position supports the PSP billing project. Reviewing and documenting contract requirements, validating billing logic, and providing data transparency across systems. This role provides hands-on exposure to PSP contracts, billing processes, and ERP/CRM systems, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and process documentation.

A Day in the Life (What you will do here):

• Review healthcare contracts to identify and extract key billing and financial requirements.
• Document contract terms in a clear, structured format.
• Compare documented contract requirements against current billing logic and system setup.
• Identify and flag potential gaps, inconsistencies, or non-compliance with contract terms.
• Assist in validating billing rules and supporting reconciliation activities.
• Support the development of a data dictionary for key ERP fields, including definitions, data sources, and program-specific usage.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand how different programs apply billing and system logic.
• Organize and maintain documentation for contracts, billing processes, and data definitions.
• Other duties as assigned by your manager

What you need to ensure you are set up for success:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Accounting, Finance, Business, Health Administration, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and interest in working with data and financial information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving
• Ability to interpret and summarize detailed information
• Clear and structured documentation skills
• Strong attention to accuracy and completeness
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Willingness to learn and ask questions in a team environment

• The anticipated base hourly rate hiring range for this role is $21 to $23 hourly. The final base salary will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, and internal equity.
