Accounts Receivable Specialist

Westmoor Mfg. Co. is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of account management and collections. In addition to the ability to meet deadlines, the successful candidate will possess strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist in billing and collection on accounts receivable accounts promptly and accurately.

· Process cash receipts by applying customer payments and researching any unidentified amounts.

· Negotiate payments with credit card customers.

· Assist with month-end close, quarterly reviews, and annual audits.

· Maintain accounts receivable files and records.

· Generate invoices and account statements.

· Assist with customer inquiries and perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements & Skills

· Must be able to perform physically active demands such as long periods of sitting, walking, reaching, climbing stairs, lifting, etc.

· Intermediate to advanced computer skills, with the ability to navigate multiple computer applications (Microsoft Office programs, etc.).

· Very strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workloads.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Minimum 1 year of experience in Accounts Receivable.

· Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service.
