Accounts Receivable Specialist

Precision Pumping Systems (PPS) has been a local and family own manufacturing business since 1972. To continue our growth, PPS is looking to increase our labor force to keep up with production demands from the industry and our increasingly popular turn-key pump stations.

We are seeking a talented Accounts Receivable Specialist. They will be responsible for:

• Invoicing our customers
• Working with our customers to resolve payment and billing issues,
• Helping identify areas where we can improve our customer deposit process and collection of the same.
• Assisting with bank account reconciliations
• Assisting our Controller with various accounting tasks,
• Answering inbound telephone calls.

Essential knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to succeed:

• A positive, results oriented attitude
• Able to handle a wide variety of work and a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate competency with Quickbooks, accounting softwares, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Comfort with math and calculations and basic data entry skills and good attention to detail
• have a mix of organizational and analytical skills.
• Comfort with generating reports and finding discrepancies as well as cost-saving opportunities
• At least 3 year of previous office experience is required.
• Previous A/R Experience is a must.
• Strong attention to detail and good listening and communication skills – both verbal and written
• Demonstrate the ability to maintain professional relationships with Customers and staff while providing high levels of service by responding to issues, requests or concerns in a timely manner.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience a plus.
