GENERAL NATURE OF POSITION
The Finance and Accounting Department of the San José State University Research Foundation (SJSURF) provides financial and administrative support services to researchers. These services include purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cashiering, property, general ledger, and risk management.  

The accounts receivable/ risk accountant plays an active role in supporting the daily operations and strategic objectives of the Research Foundation’s billing and accounts receivable functions utilizing the Workday ERP system. This position serves as a liaison between the accounting department, post-award team, and self-support programs to facilitate invoice processing and support efficient risk management activities. The accountant also collaborates with insurance providers and risk management representatives to address risk management-related needs and requests.

Compensation Range:

$71,000-$76,000 annually
