Accounts Receivable Director

Recruit Secure is partnering with a large, fast-growing healthcare organization operating multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF's) across the country to hire a Director of Accounts Receivable. This role will lead the A/R function across a multi-state SNF portfolio, working closely with A/R Managers and Supervisors while driving collection and improving cash flow. You’ll partner closely with facility Administrators to resolve issues and ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will have a good background in healthcare. Specifically in skilled Nursing Homes, a solid understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and other private payer billing practices and requirements, as well strong resolution skills. This position is located in Lakewood, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop A/R leadership team across multiple sites
• Improve collections, reduce AR aging, and optimize cash flow
• Oversee billing, reconciliations, and payer performance
• Collaborate with Administrators on escalations and issue resolution
• Support audits, bank closings, and financial initiatives

Requirements

• 3 years senior level A/R experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities (required)
• Multi-state experience preferred
• Experience with audits, bank closings, and reporting
• Proficient in Excel and billing systems
