Accounts Receivable Clerk

This is a temporary, full-time position with an expected duration of up to 13 weeks.

About the Role

Are you detail-oriented with a knack for numbers? We're looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our Finance team! In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping our customer accounts accurate and up to date by processing payments, reconciling reports, and supporting the day-to-day operations of our AR function. This position reports directly to the Controller.

What You'll Do

• Process regular, complex, and cash payments and apply funds to customer accounts
• Settle customer transactions to maintain clean and accurate account records
• Respond to incoming AR requests in a timely and professional manner
• Review and reconcile multiple daily reports
• Review customer refund checks and returned checks
• Support daily, weekly, and monthly AR tasks and reporting
• Collaborate with other areas of the Finance team on special projects as needed

What You'll Bring

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
• Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to assess situations and take appropriate action
• Positive, confident interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred:

• Associate's Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics
• Familiarity with debits and credits

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
