Become a Key Player as an Accounts Receivable Clerk

You will support the accounting function by keeping customer accounts accurate and up to date, helping the team maintain strong cash collection and reconciliation processes. This is an onsite role in New Orleans, LA and is a temp-to-perm opportunity (conversion considered after ~6 months).

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team

• Apply and post daily customer payments accurately
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies in a timely, professional manner
• Maintain accurate customer account records
• Prepare and process daily bank deposits
• Prepare journal entries, adjustments, accruals, and supporting documentation
• Assist with month-end accounting activities
• Collaborate with customers, branch personnel, and other departments to resolve account issues
• Support the Accounting Department with additional projects and responsibilities as needed

Here's What Else Might Help You Out

• Associate degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent accounting/administrative experience
• Previous Accounts Receivable or general accounting experience preferred

Pay Range

$12.96 - $16.20/hour
