Compensation: $23.00 - $25.00/hr (based on experience)

Job summary: Our client in Vineland, New Jersey is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team. This full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity offering $23.00 - $25.00/hr. The schedule is Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The ideal candidate will support the accounting department by managing invoicing, posting payments, and maintaining accurate customer account records. 

Responsibilities:

• Invoice Processing: Process and generate customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Account Management: Maintain and manage customer accounts and account records
• Payment Posting: Post and apply customer payments to the correct accounts
• Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account balances
• Billing Reconciliation: Assist in resolving billing discrepancies and payment issues
• Account Setup: Create and establish new customer accounts in the system
• Accounting Support: Assist with daily accounts receivable functions and reporting

Requirements:

• Previous AR, billing, or accounting clerk experience preferred
• Accounting Software: Experience with Sage MAS 200 or similar ERP/accounting systems a plus
• Data Entry Skills: Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Technical Aptitude: Comfortable learning new systems and accounting software
• Microsoft Office Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office applications
• Organization Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
