Position: Accounts Receivable Clerk

Pay Rate: $22.00 /hourly

Location: Lodi, CA

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to support the Billing and AR team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate invoicing, maintaining records, and assisting with collections while collaborating with internal teams to resolve discrepancies.

The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Validate pricing, quantities, and freight to ensure accurate customer invoicing
• Maintain electronic files, including scanning and indexing documentation
• Collaborate with Sales, Logistics, and Customer Service teams to gather supporting documents
• Research and resolve customer deductions including shortages, pricing discrepancies, freight claims, allowances, and returns
• Perform collections activities on assigned accounts, including follow-up calls and emails
• Maintain accurate account notes and aging status within the AR system
• Escalate delinquent accounts as necessary
• Support overall billing and accounts receivable processes

Qualifications

• Previous experience in accounts receivable, billing, or accounting support preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience with accounting or ERP systems is a plus
