Our Potential Opportunity INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a Trainee Tax & Compliance to join our Finance and Accounts team. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial management, compliance, and reporting across industries. Our Finance and Accounts services demonstrate our commitment to maintaining financial integrity, ensuring smooth financial operations, and supporting decision-making processes.

What You’ll Lead and Deliver

• Support the preparation of financial information in the required format for tax audits.
• Assist in collecting financial documentation to support financial substance.
• Prepare reconciliations of financial records to ensure alignment with tax liability settlements.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of VAT and WHT tax returns on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Coordinate with tax consultants on various tax-related assignments.
• Collaborate with the Finance and Procurement teams on tax-related transactions.
• Assist in maintaining the tax calendar and ensuring compliance with deadlines.

To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation , or related field.
• Preference for candidates enrolled in CA, ACMA, ACCA, or similar certification programs.
• Understanding of direct and indirect taxation concepts.
• Awareness of local tax laws and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with income tax, GST/VAT, withholding tax, etc.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with IRIS portals.
• Ability to use ERP systems (optional but preferred).
