Accounts Receivable and Service Billing Specialist

- Answer incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner and transfer as needed and well as greet and welcome visitors and direct them appropriately as the first point of contact.
- Handle all incoming checks and process bank deposits as needed.
- Process all service department billing for four divisions.
- Prepare all invoicing for outgoing mail and email each day, and export invoices to the accounting program.
- File daily accounting paperwork properly and efficiently.
- Produce and distribute monthly customer statements.
- Process credit card transactions.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- A minimum of three to five or more years’ experience in automotive or heavy duty service billing, is required; with an emphasis on accounts receivable, is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, databases and accounting software. Moderate level Excel experience.
- Aptitude for numbers, accounting procedures, spreadsheets, procedures and applicable laws.
- Must be a self-starter and committed to quality work
- Ability to review service invoices for accuracy in labor rates, parts rates, spelling, and customer information.
- Possess excellent customer service skills as well as the ability to perform recordkeeping functions in an accurate and timely manner.
