Accounts Receivable & Payable Specialist

If so, this Direct Hire Accounts Receivable & Payable Specialist position may be for you! The Accounts Receivable & Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing incoming & outgoing financial transactions that are in compliance with company policies, completed with accuracy and within deadlines. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this position will support accounting operations, month-end close processes and customer/vendor relationships.

Location

Onsite in Scottsdale, AZ

Background Profile

• High School Diploma | Associate’s degree – Preferred
• 1-3 years of Accounting experience including Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable
• Proven experience performing Accounts Receivable & Payable functions, including processing customer invoices, reviewing account statements/vendor statements, identify & resolve discrepancies, review, code & process vendor invoices and general accounting duties to reconcile AR & AP subledgers to the general ledger, assist with month-end and year-end closing processes and supporting audits
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles
• Proficiency in Excel & Accounting Software i.e. NetSuite, SAP or QuickBooks
• Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills, high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• You would describe yourself as a “Self-Starter” with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaborate with all levels within an organization
• You thrive working in a dynamic, fast-paced & ever-changing environment and are “Self-Motivated” while executing multiple priorities simultaneously
