Position Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivable collections for assigned customers and regions.
- Communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances and payment status.
- Review customer credit, process credit approvals, and recommend credit limit adjustments.
- Prepare collection notices, payment plans, refunds, account statements, and account adjustments.
- Process credit card payments and maintain accurate customer account records.
- Research account discrepancies, credits, and payment issues.
- Partner with internal teams to resolve billing disputes and customer concerns.
- Handle high-volume and complex customer accounts, including multi-location customers.
- Respond to customer inquiries related to invoicing, credit, and payment processing.
- Review and approve sales orders, including high-value transactions, based on creditworthiness.
- Monitor lease account aging, investigate discrepancies, and maintain account documentation.
- Support customer transitions related to acquisitions and newly integrated accounts.
- Recommend accounts for third-party collections when appropriate.
- Train and mentor members of the collections team.
- Provide support for special projects and additional duties as assigned by management.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years’ collection or customer service experience.
