Engage2Excel is seeking an Accounts Receivable Agent based in the Montreal area or working remotely for a temporary full‑time position of one year, who is detail‑oriented, organized, and committed to delivering high‑quality financial support.

As an Accounts Receivable Agent, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate processing of payments, resolving discrepancies, and supporting positive client relationships through timely and professional communication.
Your Impact
You will support financial operations by ensuring accurate processing, reconciliation, and communication with clients.

Contact customers regarding outstanding invoices and credit balances; arrange payments and respond to billing inquiries
Collaborate with Account Management to resolve payment issues (invoicing, pricing, product/service concerns)
Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and irregularities
Process cash receipts and prepare journal entries for bank deposits
Perform account reconciliations for accounts receivable
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records (cash receipts, invoices, documentation)
Obtain and provide information via phone, email, or other channels to resolve issues efficiently

You’ll succeed if you bring:

2–3 years of related Accounts Receivable or accounting support experience
Familiarity with accounting systems such as RCA and Great Plains Dynamics is an asset
Familiarity with accounting terminology and procedures (cash application, reconciliations, data entry)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial information
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database systems

Language Requirements

Bilingual (English and French)
